Book as early as possible
Most of the time you can book a cruise with a refundable deposit up until the final payment due date (excludes some special promotions.) The advantage of booking early is that you will get your desired cabin type/location and will not have to compromise based on availability at a later stage. Secondly, if you monitor prices and promotions associated with the same cruise, you can call your booking agent to adjust/re-book to get the better deal for the same cabin.

Use a Cruise travel agent
Cruise agencies block out set of rooms on cruise ships at a discounted rate therefore, can offer you bonuses such as on board ship credit, drinks and/or restaurant packages, special occasion celebrations treats such as a bottle of champagne/wine/chocolate covered strawberries etc and sometimes cash back/rebate offers!

Sign up for the cruise line’s casino and loyalty programs.
You can get some decent discounts on your cruise booking if you spend $$$ in the cruise line casinos. Additionally, if you frequently cruise with a particular cruise line you can be eligible for some loyalty program discounts.

Look for off-peak season deals
You can find some great deals/special offers during end of April through May and September to early January (excluding holiday weeks of course!) Just be mindful that the hurricane season, June – November can poses a threat of disruption of your cruise itineraries. One of the best deals that we’ve seen are the BOGO (buy one, get one) cruise offers, where you get a free 4-5 day cruise when you book a 7-day cruise with certain restrictions.
